Mar-duino
My project is the “Mar-duino”. It is the combination of old-shool media with old shool art.
I was inspired by the “I am 8 bit” exhibit mostly. The use of old 8 bit ideas put into a realistic/modern context really get me going.
This piece is a background consisting of a hand-drawn segment of World 2-2 from Super Mario Bros. The way it works is that in order to complete the “Super Mario” universe, you need Mario. So whenever Mario comes into play, the Underwater Theme starts playing.

The circuit ic comprised of an Arduino Board where the music is stored, which in turn is connected to a speaker which is connected to the cardboard backing and back.
